Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This policy explains how to cancel a Klick.ing subscription and where we stand on refunds. It sits alongside our Terms of Service; where section 5 of the Terms covers the same ground, the two say the same thing.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time, yourself, from More → Billing in your dashboard. There is no cancellation fee, no minimum term, no notice period, and nothing to email us for.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut your access off immediately: you keep everything your plan includes until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account moves to the Free plan after that. If you cancel a yearly plan in its second month, you keep that plan for the remaining ten.
You can restart a subscription at any point after cancelling. Nothing about your page needs to be rebuilt.
2. Refunds
We do not offer refunds for subscription payments, including the unused remainder of a billing period. This applies to both monthly and yearly plans, and to renewals.
We take this position because the Free plan is permanent and genuinely usable, and because every paid feature can be tried before you pay for it: nothing in the Design tab is hidden behind your plan. You can open every panel, apply any theme or layout, and watch it render on your live preview. The editor tells you when something will not save. You are never asked to buy a feature you have not already seen working on your own page.
Nothing here limits any right to a refund you have under applicable law, including India's consumer protection legislation. Where the law requires a refund, we will provide one.
Where we will refund
We will issue a refund in these cases:
- Duplicate charge. If you were billed twice for the same period, the duplicate is refunded in full.
- Charged after cancelling. If a renewal is taken after you cancelled, we refund it in full.
- A failure on our side. If a paid feature is unavailable for a sustained period because of a fault we are responsible for, and we cannot put it right, contact us and we will sort out a fair resolution.
In each of those cases, email klick@xhadow.in from the address on the account. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
3. What happens to your data
Cancelling never deletes anything. Your pages, links, images, short links, QR codes and analytics all remain exactly as they are.
On the Free plan, features that belong to a paid tier stop applying to your public page, and analytics history is kept for the Free retention window rather than your old one. If you were running more pages than the Free plan allows, only your oldest page stays servable. The rest are preserved and return the moment you upgrade again.
Deleting your account is a separate action, and that one is permanent. See the Privacy Policy for what is erased and the one exception (invoices we are legally required to retain).
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we do not immediately close your account. Our payment processor retries, and you will be notified by email. If it keeps failing, the subscription lapses and the account moves to Free, with your content untouched.
5. Price changes
If we change the price of a plan, existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at for their current subscription, and we give reasonable notice before any change takes effect on renewal. You can cancel before that renewal if you would rather not continue.
6. Enterprise plans
Enterprise is billed by agreement rather than through checkout, so cancellation and refund terms are whatever your agreement says. Talk to us directly.
7. Contact
Questions about a charge, a cancellation, or a refund? Email klick@xhadow.in. A real person reads it, usually within a business day or two.
